Suchindrum is popular for the famous temple dedicated to sthanumalaya (Thrimurthi). It is 13km from Kanyakumari en-route to Trivendrum and is venerated by both Vaishnavites and Saivites. The temple enshrines on a single lingam, known as Sthanumalaya, the triple aspects of God-Siva, Vishnu and Brahma.

In the temple corridor there is a massive 18-foot tall statue of Hanuman. Besides this, temple hosts the statues of 'Indra Vinayakar', 'Nava Grahas' and other deities. The temple is also known for its musical pillars and architectural beauty.
